Call me eager, call me naive. It was 50 degrees less than a week ago, and of course I blasted Bob Marley while I took all the plastic wrap off my windows, stowed the space heater, and swore to switch from beer to wine (and hide the bread machine) because bikini season is finally in (my) sight. Wrong. You'd think that after more than 25 years (give or take a few) in Minnesota, I would not have been completely surprised when asked if I was ready for the BIG STORM coming. WHAT? I look outside our front window and I see that I was only fooling myself because no matter how badly I wanted it, my wants did nothing to prevent more than a foot of snow from falling. I'm not a winter lover. There, I said it. I dislike being cold and all the gear that goes with it. I'll bundle up to go snowboarding but unless I'm surrounded by mountains and a mild climate, I might not be a joy to be around. I'm more of a "no shoes, bathing suit all day, why take a shower when you can jump in the lake, sun-loving, margarita drinking, burger grilling" kind of girl. Surprisingly, as classy as that may sound, I'm taken. And to prove it...a few WARM and SUNNY pics from an amazing vacation with my man in...where else? JAMAICA!!!
All pics taken by Justin and Maren on our super convenient Fujifilm FinePix JV100. Pretty good for a pocket digital camera, eh?
